1920's Original Clear Glass Fish Bowl Planters Peanut Counter Jar NO Lid

Description

This is a vintage, clear glass Planters Peanut jar from the 1920's. It is shaped like a fish bowl & has "Planters" in raised letters on the bottom of each wide side. The bottom where the lettering is & around the short sides is dimpled. The jar measures 11" high to the rim & is 9.5" wide across the wide sides & 6-3/4" wide across the shorter sides. The opening at the top is 7-1/4: in diameter on the outside edges.  Missing the lid. The body of the jar is in great shape. The rim shows some small flaws, flea bite chips, a small chip & a few stress cracks. The largest flaw is the double stress cracks shown in the photos. It is about 1.5" long from the rim. Still displays nicely, or perhaps you have another lid lurking about your house!
