1979 Ford F250 4x4 Supercab Ranger XLT. 460 Engine.
Dual Fuel Tanks. New A/C System and much more (see itemized list in the pictures) done by local Mechanic in 2019. New Rims and Buckshot Mudder Tires.
It‘s a good looking, good running, strong truck, but it is 41 years old and not in a mint perfect condition.
I am open if you want to hire an Inspection Company look it over for you. I used Lemon Squad in the past and found they were very accurate in their assessment.
Underneath is pretty clean and solid. On the driver's side Supercab, there is about a 2" x 1/2" surface rust patch where the paint is off.
There is paint bubbling on the front edge of the hood, where there is rust underneath.
I had 2 Restoration companies look at it and they both said it is a good solid truck and not rusty.
It was brought to my attention by a reader that the VIN is a 2WD Supercab with a 400 V8. I had never researched it. Either someone in the past converted it to 4x4 and a 460 V8 or someone changed the ID Tags in the Door and Door Jam. I know it was originally a green truck. Since I just learned this, I wanted to let everyone know.
