This MALE connector is used for Enphase IQ series inverter installations that utilize Enphase Q Cable.  You can use this MALE connector to make connections to the FEMALE connectors on an Enphase Q Aggregator. You can also use a set of (1) MALE and (1) FEMALE connector
to splice together two sections of Enphase Q cable.  Also, you can use this MALE connector on the open end of a trunk section of the Enphase Q trunk cable to connect to the FEMALE AC connector on an IQ Series Inverter.
The connectors can easily be attached and assembly on location using a standard MC4 crimping tool and a set of wire stripper / cutters.  See listing photos for connector kit parts and for assembly instructions.

When to Use Field-Wireable Q Connectors
Use Enphase field-wireable connectors with Enphase Q-Cable or field cable to:
• Easily connect Q cables on the roof without complex wiring
• Use male connectors to make connections from any Q Aggregator open connector
• Use female connectors to make connections from any Q Cable open connector
• Make a jumper to connect with a remote part of the array: Use  female to female for cable-to-cable connections, or male to female for aggregator-to-cable extensions
• Use a mated pair of connectors to splice two cut ends of cable
center for PORTRAIT (VERTICAL) module orientation.
