I am not sure of Era or Tribe(Apache)? and or what it might be?  It looks like it was a start of a pipe bag, medicine bag, purse or clothing?
Beautiful bead work.  Pattern still drawn out on skin. The piece does have a stains on it.

1/11/17 Information from Heard Museum, Phoenix...Although the colors seem unusual for Apache bead work, the design is one that has been used by Apache people as well as different Plains cultures. If the beads were sewn with thread rather than sinew, it is likely to be Apache.

Jewelry item condition: vintage used condition. I do not clean or repair. Items are as I have found them unless sterling, then I clean basic grime and to search for makers marks. Make sure to view all photos, measurements are included in photos. Please realize when dealing with vintage jewelry, stones may become loose during shipment. These are generally easy fixes or a local jeweler can fix for you.   Any flaws noticed on inspection will be listed. All sterling is acid & magnetic tested.  All gemstones are tested with a Presidium tester. All Bakelite is tested with Simichrome & Hot water.
Because of age/nature of my items , I cannot offer returns, you are purchasing AS IS condition.  THERE ARE NO RETURNS.  If you feel item is not as described, please notify me for alternative suggestions.
Shipping:   is calculated by your zip code and weight of item. I will gladly combine shipping costs, please message me if you are bidding on multiple items. Do not pay your invoice if you are bidding on several items until I can combine it for one price. You are welcome to purchase Priority shipping which offers an insurance value if item is damaged during shipment.
