    The MATE system display and controllers are complete management tools for your OutBack Power system. Through the use of a single MATE, you can remotely manage and monitor multiple inverter/chargers, MX60s and any future OutBack power conversion and control products.
    The MATE is packed full of features to make system management simple. The easy-to-read 3.1" (8 cm) LCD is backlit for dark operating conditions. Four soft keys allow easy context-based navigation of menus and functions. Two hot keys give immediate access to AC and inverter functions.
    A built-in clock and calendar function enables timer based programming of inverter and charger operation, allowing operators to set the system to work with time-of-day power rates or to limit a generator's runtime to a specific time period of the day or week. All of your settings are stored in permanent memory to eliminate the need to reprogram in the event of a system shutdown or battery replacement. The MATE includes an RS232 port with DB9 jack for connection to the serial port of a PC computer. Through the use of optional WinVerter software, operators can perform actions such as data-logging and graphical display of the system's operation and performance. The MATE system display and controller is surface mounted.

    Can I use the OutBack Power MATE with an OutBack Power GS8048A-01 Radian Inverter?
    No, you need an OutBack Power MATE3s to program "-01" model inverters.
    Can I use the OutBack Power MATE Display with an FM60/FM80 Charge Controller and another brand inverter?
    Yes, however, the data provided by the OutBack Power MATE will not be as complete if you do not also have an OutBack Power inverter.
    Exchanges or Returns
    Please contact us before returning or exchanging an item to receive a return authorization (RA). Items returned to us without receiving a return authorization will be returned to you at your expense. We accept exchanges and returns for unopened items or damaged/defective products within 30 days of receipt of shipment. A 20% restocking fee may apply to multiple quantity returns or large ticket items. A 20% restocking fee
    will
    apply for all products that ship freight. Exchanges and returns are not accepted after 30 days of receipt of shipment.
    Unopened Products
    To make an exchange or return for an unopened product, please contact us and obtain a Return Authorization. If the exchanged or returned product is unopened with all original accessories, manuals, packaging, and/or shrink wrap, you will be responsible for return shipping. If the product was sold with free shipping, shipping charges to deliver the item will be deducted from the refund amount. A refund to your method of payment will be processed within one week of receiving an authorized return minus any applicable shipping charges.
    Damaged/Defective Products
    To make an exchange or return for a damaged/defective product, please contact us and obtain a Return Authorization. If the product is returned for being damaged/defective, we will provide a return shipping label for domestic shipping costs. If we test and confirm the product is damaged/defective and receive the product along with all original accessories, manuals, and packing, we will provide a refund for the purchase price of the product, plus domestic shipping charges, if any, assessed at the time of purchase. International shipping charges, if any, will not be reimbursed. A refund to your method of payment will be processed within one week of receiving an authorized return. If we test and confirm the product is in full working order, a refund will not be provided and you will be responsible for providing a return shipping label to have the product returned to you.
