    Description

    Original chrome metal Planters Peanuts "Mr. Peanut" advertising ashtray or nut dish made in 1956 for their 50th Anniversary.
    This Mr. Peanut figural ashtray is cast in a chrome finished metal. It's crafted with excellent detail, from Mr. Peanut's monocle to the indentations in his peanut shell body. His top hat is embossed "MR. PEANUT", and the base below his feet is embossed "PLANTERS PEANUTS - 1906 - 1956". The underside is covered by a cork pad.
    This Mr. Peanut tray stands 5" tall on a 5.75" diameter round base.
    It's in very good vintage condition with no cracks or breaks, and just has some age appropriate finish wear. This
