This listing is for a set of two dinner plates in the
Welcome Home
Maize (Yellow)
design. The hand crafted, hand painted plates, which measure 11-1/4" in diameter, were first introduced by
Home & Garden Party
in 2008. The pattern has since been retired. These plates
feature an all yellow body with an embossed, semi-scalloped edge.
THE MAIN COURSE
You'll find these dinner plates to be,
at worst
,
in superb condition with only very minimal and minuscule surface wear.
(If I see even a single utensil mark or the most insignificant scratch, I won't list an item as mint.)
Any
utensil mark or scratch that may exist is "clean" and not the dark dingy gray scuff marks that are commonly found on stoneware.
T
he coloring is vivid with no fading or discoloration, the glaze shines like new, and all of the plates are completely free of cracks, chips, crazing, stains, repairs, permanent hard water deposits, and detergent residue. These dinner plates are
in
much better
condition than what is typically considered to be "excellent" or "gently used".
