MPPT controllers provide up to 30% more power to the batteries when compared to cheaper PWM only controllers (see the last image for more info). MPPT charge controllers are especially useful in situations where there isn't space for more solar panels (IE RV's, Boats) and you need to get the most energy possible out of your panels. The units up for sale are all extra units I have from my side job installing smaller systems, are top quality, and are all brand new, unused and fully tested to be working. These controllers make a great system when paired with one, or more, 50 or 100 watt solar panels and provide the maximum amount of power possible out of your solar panels. This controller also has a built in light timer feature making them ideal for outdoor lighting situations, though they also work excellent for solar gates, pumps, boats, RVs, etc. In addition to MPPT for solar, these units also feature PWM battery charging technology, unlike many other lower quality controllers, which ensures good battery health and longer battery life by regulating battery charging and balancing. In addition, these units have other added safety features such as overload protection (on both load and input), under-voltage (over discharge) battery protection, short circuit & incorrect polarity protection, lightning protection, and are fully water-resistant (IP64 spec). In addition, the small size of these units make them easy to install anywhere. I have used these units for 2 years now and have not had any problems, even in outdoor, semi-wet locations.
