Using the VE.Direct to Bluetooth Smart Dongle you can display your BMV or MPPT information on iOS and Android devices, using the VictronConnect app. View information, change settings, and join VE.Smart Networks (where applicable) on connected devices over bluetooth interfaces.
The dongle is able to read data from the BMV-70x series battery monitors, Phoenix Inverters with VE.Direct port and MPPT Solar Charge Controllers (except for the 150/70 and 150/85) using the VE.Direct communication port.
The Victron VE.Direct Bluetooth Smart dongle uses Bluetooth Low Energy, which is a technology for the Internet of Things (IoT).
These dongles have upgradeable firmware via download as technology changes, avoiding obsolescence. All Victron products, except batteries, have a 5-year warranty.
Installation Notes
- The dongle can be connected to all Victron products that have a built-in VE.Direct port, except Color Control GX.
- It is not possible to monitor a product using both a Color Control and a Bluetooth dongle at the same time.
- It is not possible to extend the VE.Direct cable.
- Minimum iOS version: 10.6.6.
- Minimum Android version: 4.3.
