    Vintage 1950's Royal Copley
    3-D Raised KOI FISH Flower Vase
    Approx. Measurements: 8 1/4" Tall  X 4 1/8" Wide
    The chartreuse green & grayish brown koi stand out in high relief against the rippling water, as the light brown background fades to off beige white on back of vase.
    This is an early piece, tall cylinder shape, two tone brown glazing on the outside, light cream colored glazing on the inside. Raised relief design of the large Koi, the rippling of water around them.
    Royal Copley china was made by the Spaulding China Company of Sebring, Ohio, from 1939 to 1960. The best known are the figural planters and the small figurines, especially those with Art Deco designs.
