    Vintage Northwest Coast Salish Native American Carved Canoe Bailer Cedar
    Available is this vintage canoe bailer made of folded cedar.  Made in the NW Coast, Haida, First Nations or Coast Salish style.   It is a hand made piece, of folded bark wood with attached handle.  The piece is unsigned and from a local Whidbey Island estate sale - age and history are unknown.  The piece came with a folded paper with a hand written note “made by Pauline & Lylie? Joe”.
    The condition is good, although it is dry and light weight.  It measures 8.5 inches long by 5 tall and 5 inches wide.  There is a small bit of bark missing on the underside rim.  There are some light scratch marks on the inside.  Overall in good condition, please review photos for a detailed view.
