This type of plastic toy was also found with purchase at stores or supermarkets or potentially down the shore at local Planters Peanut vending stores on the Boardwalk at local Beaches in NJ back in the 1960's or early 1970s, from what I understand, these were attributed to the Atlantic City Boardwalk store.
Real Whistles, but these are really neat, but vintage and cheaply made and are brittle plastic.
This is from what I think was the late 1960s or early 1970s and was from old stock from a distributor, that was never given out and is new old stock, with storage blemishes from sitting around for years (minor marks or minor dirt, but never used)
This was stored for decades in a warehouse.
These are for adult collectors and should
NOT be Given TO SMALL Children EVER!! as SAFETY STANDARDS have changed

These are best for Display, as they are now collectors Items.
